Thanks Josh! Got a few things I'd like to add/order like a VP Rigid light bar and some softer springs, but not sure until I try and run this rig.

Also need to find an appropriate driver for this. I'll see what 6" figures come to mind lol. Open to suggestions.

Got some interior work done last night. The felt came from the devils store ....walmart hate going there. They have an adhesive back and come in a 5 pack of various colors. Found them in the crafts/poster making aisle.

Did carpet, doors and a headliner. The bumps in the carpet are these countersunk rare earth magnets that I got from fleabay that hold the body to the chassis. You can see how I mounted the magnets on the chassis using servo mounts.

That's a great idea for convenience, can you pick the truck up by the body without it coming off? Did the magnets replace all body clips?

I can get it about 2-3" off the ground before it separates. Thats without wheel weights and a battery though. I intend to add another set or velcro at the rear in increase the 'hold'. Just couldnt stand the idea of body posts after making it look as scale as it is already. I seldom pick it up from the body unless its to just tip it over.

The body still has all the stock body posts so if I wanted I could bolt a bracket on it to hold it secure, but defeats the purpose and ease of magnets. We will see how it performs =)

IGot some LED's put in! Installed a hobbyking advanced scale led kit. Not bad for $15. Need to pick up another set of white leds....didnt care for the blue ones they included....not very....scale.

Anyways, got headlights, signals, front and rear rock lights and brakes for a total of 10 LEDs.

Waiting to pull the trigger on a VP rigid light bar.

Also torn on front bumper. This style like genright or the ones ser3100 or axialjeepster do normally

1) Scale bumper with 3racing/rc4wd winch and hinder approach angle
2) Same style Scale bumper with no winch but fog lights and fairlead only (servo winch) instead so shorter with slightly better approach angle.

Help a guy out!

Nice build....But...Why is this in the scx10 section? It's not a scx10. Not trying to be an ass.I'm just surprised it's still here and not moved to the other scaler section.

Then I got crazy with some details, did hinges, door handles, wipers, window frames. ALso the first picture is a better representation of the orange. its a dark orage which I'm super happy with. Our house just has such poor lighting to take good pictures.

Also got something from Cory at TSS. These Chameleon wheels are impressive! Glad I got one of the last sets before they were gone forever. Not sure if they will make it on this rig as the VP OMF's I got really look good with it, but never hurts to have options.

More pics incoming.
Paint looks great man

Finally someone done it with the taillights, I wanted to go for it on my JK but was scared of missing up the body great work man

Thanks Moedawi, The tail lights came out alright, they kind of point a little to the the sides because tehy follow the curve of the body. But with the LED's they look good. Sad thing was, I ended up finding some regular taillights to put in there AFTER i painted the body lol. Oh well, they will get used on my other JK which is missing lights.

Well I went and go myself a VP Rigid Light bar! THe 6" fits the New Bright Body but its a hair too wide. The JK mounts look and work great. Just had to use a small plastic spacer to make it fit =) This thing is a great brightness. Not sure I'd want any more lumens unless I was doing some serious night trailing.

debating on whether to use a roof rack. I'll post pics when I can

Your build looks great. Could'nt you find a way to not have the servo horn that stick in front? I had similar issue with my GCM CMS but managed to work it so its angled toward the rear. I had to shaved some of my steering end link so it wont interfere with the pumpkin. Good job.

Well I was thinking of that and I may have to rearrange some things like flip the gcm motor/tranny mount, which will need me to relocate the ESC, but will allow me to move the steering servo further forward to let me run the arm reverse, or even run it further back pulling the arm back in some. Hopefully the sliders I am having made will allow me to run the batteries on them so I can relocate the esc to where I made that little plate where I planned to put batteries which would be awesome

Thanks Shon! Pm'd you about the rack, decided to ditch it. Like the clean roof, plus I have a 'bed' to put my scale stuff in. Now to build a box/crate to put things in.

Thanks man, took some serious time getting the body work just right, other than that its just stuff you can buy off the shelf.

The axles were made for me, but this is essentially the method that was followed Narrowed Wraith axles... the easy way

I am curious about batterie on the sliders. I am searching for 1 cell 2 pack that could work for keeping side to side balance... shoot me info if you have a solution. :-)
