Finally got my matching paint and got around to spraying the tailgate. Now I just have to do a little blending work.

Truck is balanced really well but I am still fighting a bit of a rear driveshaft issue.

We hit some dirt hill climbs yesterday and when it gets a good bounce going it wants to twist the shaft off at the tranny. The hill climbs are the first time it has been an issue so I adjusted in a bit more pinion angle and ordered some T-Maxx shafts, I have read they will take a bit more angle than the Stampede version I'm currently using.

TMaxx shafts didn't feel all that smooth at first on the rear with the high angle, actually less smooth than the Stampedes did, but man are they beefy!

After running for a few hours they feel like the joints wore in a bit and are now pretty smooth, on top of that I did plenty of bouncing on hills with no problems.

Jeep has come along nicely. Now that I have it working well I am going to try and get the little things finished up. I need to get my servo winch in, lights wired up, going to shorten the front frame rails a little more and build some sliders.

Got it out today to test out the new Brood Stump Humper 550 and I have to say, out of all the brushed motors I have tried this one is THE ticket for a scaler! On 3s its nice and fast, tons of torque and still has great low end control.

I sat the old motor on top for reference, the 550 isnt that much bigger:

I added a fan just cause I wanted to and the motor never even got warm.

And out having a little fun:

Think the stumper is strong enough to replace the dual 65s in my 6x6?

Yes. I have mine geared to get a little more speed out of it, but if you gear it down it would move that truck around just fine.

The Stump Humper is a 12t 550 motor so it is equivalent in speed to a ~25t 540 but with more usable torque from what i have seen.

FINALLY got around to putting my lights in and I'm testing out some bigger tires. I will run it once as is to see how much trimming and where it's needed to clear these Pit Bulls.
