Great progress DL! The transfer case skid plate is a nice touch. When do we get to see those tires mounted up!? |

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm waiting for some rock rings from Mayhem Eng. when I get them, I'll mount a tire and shoot some pics. I'm not convinced that I'll be able to get away with those tires on this rig.. I mean, as far as looks are concerned as well as axle width. We'll see. I have to make a spare tire mount but, im going to make that for a 1.9 pit bull. |

Ok.. I ditched that transfer case skid plate setup.. I'm going a different direction with the GCM case utilizing the scx10 skid plate. I want the suspension geometry to be correct on this rig and I don't want to get hung up on things so, I'm sacrificing that cool skid I made in the name of functionality. Considering the way I drive, I'll need all the help I can get. I haven't yet made my new T-case mount but, I did however do some other things. Note: I've been playing around with the instagram app. so, beware of the fancy pics. I made up some chassis mounted steering servo mounts.. here you can see the motor/trans mounted, the servo mounted, the shifting servo mounted.. all of it fits under the hood.. shift servo mount.. from the bottom.. from the side.. |

I had a piece of styrene that fit in between the tube work and I used it as a base for my fuel cell. I also used a piece of a jewelry box tin and that will also be part of the fuel cell. Then, I cut out a section for the aluminum battery box to sit nicely in and be the same height as the fuel cell "upper portion"... I found the little aluminum box on ebay.. the lid comes off.. that fuel cell aluminum "fill" I'm using is actually a center cap off of some rc4wd militant wheels I had way back when. worked out pretty well. here it is from the front.. you wont see this side of it but, you can see how the styrene box fits nicely in place right there. I'm going to attempt to mold the styrene part of the fuel cell with the tin part of the fuel cell to make it more like one piece. then, I drilled a hole in the tin and threaded the aluminum fill and I will later use a piece of fuel hose and make the fuel filler hose assembly. |

Thanks! I'm working on my dashboard made out of an old boombox carrying handle. I also ordered up one of them crazy vanquish 5" light bars and a bunch of scale goodies and some McKenzie brothers driver figures. |

Thanks! I made a rigid trans to transfercase driveshaft.. Kinda like the TF2 one. I'm going to attempt to run this rigid shaft setup.. We'll see how it works out. |

Nice work bro. I was going to mention the hang ups on the OG transfer design but I didn't wan to be over critical. This is going to be one mean sick a$$ rig for sure. Your fuel cell is fantastic! |

Thanks man.. Yeah, I went with something more practical for the t-case mount allowing the use of the scx skid.. I also decided against the rigid shaft because I wanted the t-case to sit a tad lower so, I gave an old junfac shaft the chop. Sure, it doesn't look as cool as the other setup but, i'm sure i'll have more luck with it out on the trails. |

Thanks dude! Yeah, it was in the rc4wd build off but, it was too "involved" to be finished in time for the deadline. I then got it from Desert RC and now I'm taking over. I wont let you guys down! I want to kick some ass with this rig in 2013! |

Ok.. If you seconded guessed buying that TSS radiator, stop being a panzy and buy it! That thing is the shizzznitt! It wasn't easy drilling holes in it for my radiator cap and to mount the exo fans but, it was worth it! I also used a piece of the supplied radiator hoses as my fuel filler hose.. Gansta! I drilled tiny holes in the chassis to mount this sucka good! |

Got the fuel filler hose more dialed in.. Made up a mount for the filler cap and put some nice bends in the hose with a lighter. |
