Awesome job.
I will let you know within the hour, but the CFM light panel will put it to shame and will also act as a chassis stiffener too. BGR is in on the action with some of the stuff I'm bringing to market so get ready

I'll measure for you in a bit when I get back to the shop.
Nice thing about the Race Claws is that they are also vented and ready for CI foams. I showed Eddie just a while ago and I could see wheels turning in his head.

Thanks I am very curious how much larger than stock they will be.

Or hope will be.

Axial Exo light bar will fit with just a light shave on its width.

Alert!!
These things have a massive bead seat area. I was going to mount them on my TSS 1.9 Robby Gordon wheels but that ain't happening.

I'm just going to modify the stock wheels a bit and add a little weight for scaler applications. The stock wheels have a massive center channel which will be nice for adding weight internally.
I have also sent MThead the ring dimensions so you will be able to order custom delrin rings from him.

On another note, anyone who has ever owned 1:1 beadlocks knows how the rings taper inwards once torqued. Vaterra went so far as to design this into their rings. Hats off guys. Very cool for us scale fanatics. I think I'll be adding scale hardware to mine this weekend and drilling the rings for faux hardware.

News flash!!
I didn't even check before hand but as it turns out, the bead lock rings are the same as axials 1.9s. You can go ahead and order any of the popular delrin rings from Mthead or the aluminum rings from Locked Up RC. Or run the the super scale Vaterra rings on your axial wheels.

Almost done with the external mods for now. Also relocated the battery tray forward a bit. Didn't like it hitting the rear diff on compression and plan on adding a fuel cell

Not yet. That will be one of the last panels to go into production as we are working on making it the best possible piece and want to do it right and not just throw something in there half ass.

How do think the Pitbulls will compare to the stockers on rigidity and high speed stability? Since this is a speed capable rig.

With the Crawler InNovations foam setup, it should be no comparison. They feel just as good as far as sidewall support with the added benefit of the awesome traction from the Pits

Also, these are the new 1.9s that they increased the side wall thickness on over the previous versions.

Finally charged the stock battery so I could at least just see how the rig drives. Checked the shift servo on the work bench before I ran it and was fine. Took it outside, set it down, 10' later, shift servo dead. Awesome!!!
So I played around in low range hopping over things and surprised at how well it will crawl with an open diff. Terrified the dogs for a few minutes then brought it back to look over it.
Rear shock is leaking oil like a stuck pig. I had put a Traxxas shock spring clip on the front shock that ha the broken preload collar but know the cap end seems to be f*#^%+ and doesn't seat on the ball and was almost pulled over the lock nut.
I have a spare currie rear axle sitting here I was gonna throw on it but now debating if its even worth the trouble.
