Default "Bipolar" By CFM

Really excited about the potential of this truck and was a little on the fence about it until I had a couple phone conversations with some "special" people. Immediately ordered one and it should be here soon.
Already have upgrade stuff coming and stuff laid out to fab. As you know, I will be offering the aluminum replacement panels as I have done with the Wraith and maybe more after I get it in my hands. This will be my test unit for all things exciting and new.
Will be running:
CC MMP
Tekin 13.5 Redline
3s
500,000wt front diff oil
CFM aluminum panels
Hitec servos
1.9 Pitbulls
Crawler InNovations foams
Locked UP Rc 1.9 Iconic bead lock wheels
All the VP goodies once I can get my hands on them
As mush scale stuff that I can adapt without hindering performance
And of course, a couple different rear axle housing options, in case you want to turn a little sharper, or be a bit more flashy.

Here is the rolling stock.
1.9 Pitbulls, Crawler InNovations Lil Nova foams, Locked Up Rc Iconic beadlocks w/ scale hardware, and RC4wd hub/rotors and scale hardware.

Sounds like a nice build, only problem is I think with all that added weight you may be loosing some of the durability of the rig.

IMO one of the best things about the Twin Hammers is in stock form (other then electronics) I know I can go on a several hour trail ride and unless I'm being stupid with it, I won't even need to bring any spare parts with me. That's nice!

Only weight I'm really adding that will be noticeable will be the rolling stock, which I'm fine with. Just have something against plastic wheels and their durability. The panels weight is negligible for what they are and the size of them. Probably have to hold off on the scale goodies though.
I'm just ready to get the dang thing already.

I had been considering at set of these stock rim for a scale project, unfortunately I've only seen pictures. I see you're changing yours out, so am wonder if they're to lightly built to be durable?
Thanks

Durability is all in what they are being used on an so forth. I simply stray from plastic beadlocks due to the threads eventually greeting worn out in the bead lock screw holes. Now, that is only a problem if you are a wheel and tire whore like myself and like to constantly change stuff around. That being said, Pitbull is the Official tire of Carter Fab & Machine so I don't see a whole lot of tire changes in my future unless some of my wishes get granted.
Also, the hex area can be a weak point if there is not enough meat around the edge and if the depth is not proper. I don't have these in hand yet, so I can not say yes or no for the stock wheels as of now.

Ok, you beat me to the punch, I wanted pitbulls on my hammer! Can you tell me the size difference between the stock tires and the pitbulls?

From what I've read, they are around 4.100" just a touch smaller than the Flat Irons. My truck still hasn't shown yet.

That's more what I figured after seeing a side by side with the Trepadors, there was barely any difference.
Mine is now showing delivery tomorrow. I'm gonna leave a note on the door so hopefully they'll leave it here.

Well shit!!!!
Out of the box and broke.
At first I though it was typical RTR assembly on the shocks until I started to adjust.
It sat funny when I took it out and noticed one of the shock pre-load collars was much further down than the other.

I adjusted it back and rotated the screw to the top for easier access.
When I went to spin the other around, I noticed the collar was broke, hence useless now until I can get a replacement, which I really don't want to mess with putting a flimsy plastic collar on an piece with so much tension.

Here is a shot with the pitbulls and the stock tires. Both mounted.

Also to remove an doubt I measured the stock tires and they came to 4.300 +/-.020.

If you can't fix yours or the replacement will take a while, you can have mine. I'm not going to use them. Just PM me your address and I'll drop them in the mail.

Those are the same spring collars as the Losi Night Crawler, I ran em for a whole season and didnt have one issue and i had a lot of hard tumbles. You should be able to get replacements right from Horizon under Losi parts if they dont have Vaterra replacements up yet for cheap. I dont know what else works but im sure there are other options out there too....

Ultra 4 roof. Will have an accessory light panel to house the popular Axial oval light buckets and also reinforce the roof area.

Wonders if the Exo rear light would fit that roof mod?
Awesome job.
