sweet rig man... i got one of these too but mine is a crew cab.. build thread is in the 1.9 scale section.... did you have to open up your rear wheel wells so the tires didnt rub when flexing????

at first mate i was running 1.9 roklox at like 113mm so yh they fouled the arches quiet bad so instead of choping the arches and to getting it looking abit more scale i swapped the tyres for the baja claws as there smaller so they fill the arch on flex know with out catching...

thanks for the reply.. i have the 1.9 baja claws which are 4.75" tall and where i want to mount the body its gonna hit the tires so thinking i might just widen the wheel wells a bit on the bottom |

me?? yup sure do, my F350 aint done yet but this is body sitting on chassis roughly where it will get mounted.. ^^ if you look in this picture at the rear of the front tire there aint much clearance there between body and tire.... sooo.... gonna lop of the wheel well off, the same thing on the rear wheel wells too but its front of tire and rear of tire.. got the bondo smoothed out thats there, going to paint the grille, add stacks.. wouldnt mind building an interior next winter too. have some sliders in the works right now, will be 1/4" solid rod running along bottom of doors and will protect from the lower body line down on the doors. |
