Default Lentsnh2012 and Mattzilla create Truggy Tundra!

After my JeepSpeed Cherokee build, I learned a BUNCH about how to make bends, links, and so much more. Unfortunately, I got burned out on that project and I realized I really miss having a 1.9 crawler SSOOOOOO....

I was searching around and was looking for something that has unique characteristics and I found Tundra Truggy rigs like jrocha's Truggy and others.

So far, Here is what I have:

Not pictured
-Tamiya Tundra cab
-Pitbull Rockers 1.9 sized
-Gear Head 1.9 Hammer wheels
-Blue Monkey steering linkages
-Axial AX10 CVDs
-Axial OverGear set
-Axial UnderGear set
-MIP SCX10 driveshafts
-RCScrews SCX10 screw set (stainless)
-Hot Racing clockable CHUBS
-Axial Hi-Steer Knuckles

I'm using a Tekin 35T/FXR combo, Futaba R2004GF receiver, CC BEC and 32P gears.

Also just got in from the shop after making custom length links:

We just moved houses and JUST finished up my new shop area. 3 hours with lumber and this is what the final result was:

I'll be buying more parts from RPP and SuperShafty here soon, as well as, brazing supplies. Be looking out for updates!!!!

A little update:

Not having access to a TIG welder anymore and I don't have a metal table to braze on, I'm going to let Lue (Mattzilla) build my chassis for me. He did incredible work for Bulldog and another member on here and I'll be proud to show off his chassis with all! I'll be sending my parts to him later this week so he can get started. In the meantime, I'll be waiting on my other pair of Rockers to come in and buy some MORE parts for this project, Wraith and my Losi TEN SCTE race truck.

Nothing has really changed with this build and wont until Lue finishes up with the chassis.

I will be painting the Tundra the color of my first vehicle. Which was a 2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport PreRunner in Indigo Ink Pearl.

Only a month?? Wow, time flies! Anyway, quite a few few parts have been added or changed.

What I'm sitting with now:

RC4WD Yota axles
RC4WD 4 link truss (x2)
RC4WD Ultimate coilovers (110mm)
Vanquish DIG with a Futaba S3004
Locked Up R/C scale hardware
Castle Creations MMP with Tekin 35T motor (for now-might move up to the ROC412)

Lue at Mattzilla is creating my chassis and I cannot wait to see it. Perfection takes time and I know Lue will do an awesome job. Hopefully, I can make it to the last opening of The Great American Park Offroad Park this August in Auburn, Alabama. Give those new Pitbull's a good workout

Talk about knocking it out of the park! Thank you again Lue for the spectacular job! I cannot wait to open it up and admire the workmanship and get some beauty shots of this thing!

The Indigo Ink Pearl will make it look awesome against the black cage.

I had the same theme on my old Tacoma:

Just kidding, sir! I never got into Fantasy Football. NCAA is more my stomping grounds.

I will be painting the cab and bedsides with Toyota Indigo Ink Pearl. The chassis will be, of course, black; the cleanest color.

Mattzilla's tube work is sick as always!
Lue definitely knows how to bring an idea and turn it into a work of art. It seems like he has the Asian powers to pull the image out of my mind and make it happen!

The MT's do lookawesome on there but I think some Pitbull's will look just as nice.
