got a new chassis on the way so thought i would do a full build on it.

i cant stop making more work for mattzilla. now i have him building a exo cage for the yota. all i can say is when i get this truck done it will stay in my collection forever. i just hope i have the balls to drive it when its done.

You should try running them without oil first and see how you like the articulation travel. Depending if you prefer to appreciate the suspension in slow crawling vs. rock racing, you just might like how they perform without oil.

If you don't have 'em, grow 'em buddy. Lol...these rigs can't be built to just sit on shelves collecting dust....at least get dirt on the treads....:lmao:

I had a set on a truggy and I didn't like how the shocks work dry. The truck just seemed to tork roll up rocks. A friend said he was going to run 2000w. I told him he was on crack & it will never work. Well I was proven wrong it works great truck flexes just as good without the tork roll on hills

thats one sexy PIG of a yota:shock:.. looks great, you will need the 2k oil with all that solid rod everywhere!!

I like to run 100wt or more in the kings with MRC silver soft springs x2 on each shock. 10lb weight of the rig settles it down to full squat/droop, but still can move along faster over rocks and not un-load when I put one tire up on a lip. nothing worse than torque roll and a rig that un-loads and tips over when your descending or 3 wheelin up the side of a rock..... love a heavy rig!!:mrgreen:

thanks. we have been running 2000w on stock honcho's with stock king shocks and its been working great. i never liked a drop setup i could never make it work plus it takes the scale look away when driving over rocks or up hills.

thats whats so cool about rc. what works for one driver dont always work for another
