incredible Dean, best tlt/ bruiser I have seen yet. you just keep raising the bar for the rest of us. Nice job not only narrowing and cutting the mashers, but sectioning them too, wow impressive. Those hummer wheels are sweet too, look like a steel beadlock for a yota for sure. Pete looks happier in the brusier than the hilux. I agree with bender, you may win the scale class by just showing up. |

| Great!!!!!!!!
Now I need to build up another bloody Mountaineer/TLT rig. I was hoping that the 350 would cure my need for one of these, but thanks to you I'm going to be $500 less rich making one! Well done on this build. Like the others have said....This is by far the coolest Mountaineer/TLT-1 Hybrid out there. |

colquitt, yup, i mig'd them. and like any real slider, i welded them to the frame. i bet all the bruiser collectors are cringing at the thought of me thrashing/welding on all my bruiser chassis and bruiser axle'd crawlers!

hey smokinpole in the back room, just work out the bugs in your hilux chassis. i told you i'd help you out. there are things that you need to figure out yourself too. don't get discouraged or frustrated so easily. it's a good start so far. trust me, i have had many trial and error test runs to get where i am at! try doing some researck on 4-link set ups. visualize the arc that the arms travel during their full range and see where that places the axle. if the axle swings too far back or too far to the side, see what is causing that to happen. it helps to draw it out on paper too. keep trying and dont give up! my first stab at it resulted in more axle steer than i could imagine!
