I agree... Take a thin tip red sharpie and put a line almost to the edge of the rim lip and you have that 80's steel rim that all the basher hick trucks had.

thanks guys, i like them alot! kinda going for that 80's look. dustin and i were talking about the red line yesterday afternoon while testing out the tires. it may happen.
mike, i think the wheels are off of the stadium blitzer or blitzer beetle, i can't remember.

Thanks for the info, but if you want a true 80s style Bruiser, youll have to jack it up and add 12 shocks to it and paint all the chassis parts blue and purple

hopefully friday there will be some action pics. a few of us nor-cal guys are going to play hookie and go crawling somewhere. i really want to find some mud for this thing. damn california weather doesn't rain when you want it to.

Those wheels are almost perfect. Just got too many spokes.

8 spokes, that's what ya want. And a locking front hub.



Nitro TC3 RTR wheels, with stock TLT backsides used to widen them. The hub is a Traxxas shock. The shock cap is drilled for the wheel nut, the tube screws down over it.

humm....the more i look @ it...they dont look too bad....i just would change the color IMO..i would do black spokes and leave the inner and outter lip of the wheel white....JUST MO
