Default a real scale crawler! action pics pg10

well, it's a big claim but this is my most scale crawler to date! the vid was posted a few days ago and since then, i have added a winch and robbed the man out of my hilux. the nor-cal scale class is handing out negative points for scale items so i am going full bore on scaleism ( i need all the help i can get). soon i will have a functional tool box, tow strap, hi-lift, tow hooks and a few other items. here are the pics.

Looks awesome.

Negative points for scale items? Looks like you're going to win without even entering the comps.

Dean - Damn man, looking great. I guess I need to step up the scale items on my rig now to keep up in the negative points department

ColquittCustom405 - You bet we tapped your line. I calle dup Mr. Bush himself to get the transcripts. Thanks for the idea. They worked great at our last comp

Here are the deductions we are giving in the Nor-Cal events. We will have to add "interior" to the list.

Scaletastic bonus: (-1 pt) will be awarded for rigs with the following scale
features. The goal is to build a scale rig and you will be rewarded for such
things.

• Hard Plastic body -1
• Custom bed -1
• Tools -1 – I.E. Shovel, Jerry cans, snorkel, tamiya wrench, axe, tow rope
• Spare tires -1
• Functional Lights -1
• Sand Ladder/s -1
• Winch -1
• Trailer - 1

I watched your video the other day... and then I watched my favorite parts a second time. (minute 20 to minute 23 is the best) Probably the best scale video I've seen to date...

Very Nice!!!

what about a driver? if this gets the same negative point as the interior, than "pete" is out and back into the hilux! i had to shave another 1/4" off his head to fit in the scaler.:-( .... poor little guy. as if only having half his legs is bad enough.

Nicely done. I gotta say I like the toolbox a hell of a lot more than that goofy half-top that came with the Bruiser. Wheels look sweet, too. I've always like the taller sidewalls you get with 1.9's.

Dean, If you ever sell this truck...I am buying it... Since I saw the video on friday, I just keep thinking how scale it is. I showed someone else the video and they thought it was real. Props to you my brotha, definitely the most scale Bruiser Hybrid to date.
