| Drew's Power Wagon
Hey everyone. Our summer events are coming up soon and I don't have a 1.9 rig, so I needed to build something. My C3 rig is going to take a while so I wanted to do something quick. Trying to keep this fairly simple. The only real custom parts will be interior and the bed. I wanted this to be totally fenderless, looking at the stock bed I thought it would look funny with the fenders cut off so I decided to build one. I'll probably regret the full length bed. SCX10 chassis Incision links SSD Diamond Pro 10.2 axles Dinky DDK.2 Holmes Puller 400 Holmes BR Mini Hitec 7950 Custom sliders I stole off a previous build Dinky Cantilever Big bores with mini t's Bed is coming along but still needs quite a bit of work. |

Yeah when you do it like that you could do with a inch or so less bed out back, and its not like there are any chassis rails to contend with back there. Personally i go for the pretty much stock look of the PW, i like the street ( Danish street ) legal look, and here you cant do anything to your car if you want to drive it on the streets. But that's okay too cuz when it cone to terrain 1:1 or 1:10 its not like we need the super bad ass rigs, slap a winch ( worst case ) on your land rover or RC car and you are good to go offroading anywhere in Denmark. I am still hoping someone will print a dashboard, but if not i will have to hit the styrene too, and thank god its not like a old PW have a detailed dashboard. I will be using the bench seat from the Mojave body, it just about fit like a glove. Anyway project looking fine |

Just my .02, if you're going fenderless, I think you should Bob the bed, less to get hung up on.

Got the tailgate "done" and the bulkhead at the cab. Still lots of sanding, some minor reinforcement and details to come.

A fine looking bed like that you can probably sell off if you get tired of it.

Great idea with the bed, something I've been kicking around in my head for a while.

You could try a tad longer rear link combo? I think the truck would still sit right. Just a thought. |

1st iteration of the dash is done. It'll be on the printer this weekend to see what needs to be adjusted. Also planning on attempting to pull a resin copy of the cab this weekend, assuming the weather cooperates and isn't too cold.

I hate looking at these type of threads...always makes me feel so inferior in skill level Looking really good so far, especially with the bench seat! Where did you get the cantilevered suspension? |

He still sells them, they're now manufactured through Yeah Racing. Available through his site, and a few retailers as well.
