Front leaf spring perches, servo and transmission are all mounted! Just need to make some u bolts; still working that out.... I've been thinking of using some stainless TIG filler rod and then putting a 2-56 die on it. Any other ideas I'm missing?

1"x 1/4" piece of stock with a 39/64th (.609) hole drilled through the center and then halved is the best way to make them! U-bolts are being a pain right now...

Knocked out the front end this morning. The shock towers are done, tapped holes are now in the axle tubes for the chubs, and rear shock hoops are ready to be brazed on as well. I only stopped because I broke a M3 tap in a piece of aluminum for another project- it was the last hole too!!!

I need to buy some Fab Tabs to get the shocks done. Being that I wont be thrashing hard on this rig, a single shear mount might be okay.

Alright, time for a lonnnnnngggg overdue update. Thanks to Fr8cture for having the interest in it and asking if I could do a little fab work, it turns out, its all I needed to put the flame back into this build. Possibly the little break from it helped.

Anyway, I'll just let the pictures tell the story: **Don't look too much into the U-bolts, wheels and tires**

Headlight mounts, grille, rear shock towers, B pillar cross brace and more was done.

Just gotta weed through half of the trolls on there to get to the veterans and good threads. It's actually a very good forum after all of that.

That grill looks mean as hell. Is it off a Ram body?

Thanks! I'm glad you like it haha. I plan on redoing it, it just doesn't look right. The grille is a heavily modified grille from the RC4WD Mojave body set.

It should look less Dodge-y when it is finished up.

Any more updates? This build looks like it's almost there...

Yep.

I've scooped up this chassis and will finish it.
