Have to admit, I'm a little jealous.

Hey Brian, Glad to see the gremlin body made it out to you just fine, and this pacer looks familiar too.. ( Yeah I also owned it for a short time as well..LOL) It was originally built by fellow member on here "Rocksolo". Wade did a great job with the bumpers and sliders, but I really like the changes you've made to this as well. Can't wait to see it (both of THEM) finished..!!

That's too funny that you had them both at one time. I've sidelined the Gremlin build for now, saving the body.
Glad to know who started all the tube work, it was done really well.
Thanks for the compliment on the changes I've made I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Since I had the day off I decided to work a little on the Pacer. I wire wheeled the tube work and then shot everything with flat black.
I also made a delrin plate to mount the KMS winch and to mount the electronics box to.
Lastly I mounted up a 2" V2 Crawler-Dad led light bar to the front bumper.

It's getting there....

Will there be a red vine dispenser in the headliner?

The Pacer is a roller again!

mandatory flex shot.

I had planned to paint the muffler silver but after hitting it with the wire wheel it looked pretty sweet so I decided to leave it raw.

I'm still trying to figure out if this thing will have an interior. I really hate the idea of cutting up the windows on this body and I suck at styrene!

Awesome Brian! I need to get a couple of those led light bars. Is there enough material on the sides top shave them down a tad? Me and Tyler are going to get started building our Dingo kit tomorrow.

Love this thing - the odd builds are always the best.
What size did you use for the exhaust?

I hate to admit but I had to look that up. I had forgot that they called their Pacer the mirth mobile.

Thanks James! There is plenty of meat on the Crawler-Dad lights to shape them a bit.

Thanks! For the exhaust I used 3/16" brake line and 1/4" for the tip.
I love the odd builds myself to and prefer not being 1 of 10 Honchos or Jk's out on the trail.
This was my JK...My C2 '49 Merc for this season.

I'm going to try to get the electronics and lights sorted out tomorrow or maybe that's today, anyway that's the plan.
We'll see if anything else surfaces.

Today I was able to get all the electronics done including LED's. I also made a set of foam inner fenders like I see everyone doing now.

I've decided I'm not going to mess with an interior and I don't want to add a bunch of crap to the roof for scale points so I just added a Hi-Lift jack and sand ramps. I may still add a CB antenna I made but that will be it for this rig...Simple and Clean!

Thanks James! I'll get some pics tomorrow in the yard.

The cage paint isn't holding up as well as I had hoped so it'll need to be repainted before SWSC.
Now to get it out for some test and tune time.

I love this Pacer and the Gremlin as well. This is one BA looking rig. Got to ask where did you find the bodies. I would live the either of them for my Drag car I am building.

Thanks for the compliment! I just got lucky and found them in the for sale section, they are pretty hard to find anymore, I kept a look out for over a year.
