links done, wheelbase is set and suspension is working well, no binding, operates smooth and no wobbles or sway. Those are stampede front, and rear shocks I had on hand, worked pefect.

Next is to make the steering rods, and when my HD servo arrives install that

Oh yes, there are leafs on all 4 corners.

I'm just saying if you wanted a 4-link it's much easier & CHEAPER to do a TLT.

When you bought the highlift, what did you expect?

It's your highlift, do what you want. I'm just not impressed with any of the 4-linked highlifts I've seen, suspention wise.

I wanted to put the transfercase higher, but by 4 linking I could do a suspension lift, and fit taller tires. I have a couple TLT's, but wanted to do 1 of my 2 high lifts in a custom build. I'll be selling a jefferson tlt soon as I'm keeping the high lifts. This is just something I wanted, not out to impress just to be me, different.

Maybe that came across wrong. I still like the trucks, just not the susp.

not to mention, its still not a stock leaf sprung highlift,so what were YOUR expectations?

im not knocking anyones truck,i so far havent seen a single highlift i havent liked...

but like william,i have several highlifts, 5 to be exact right now,3 in possesion, and 2 more being shipped to me,i wanted one to stand out from the rest of them, and so far,ive succeded,i havent quite seen a highlift like mine yet,let alone one thats 4 linked, with a winch, chevy clod bod..

if the crewcab project turns out good, and the body looks good,im going to stretch the hell out of one of my other highlifts, and make it a leaf sprung,"STOCK" highlift, only modification will be the stretch...anyways

more info on your setup DTP? from the pics,i would bet my corvette its not the stock leaf spring setup.

and to william, great job dude, looks good!

Just made up some steering rods, and I have servo-to-bellcrank to go but it's getting close.

This thing flexes MUCH more than the beercan, but I had it in hand so...

Man, those All-T's look huge on there. How long until someone mounts a set of Kongs on one. It'd be like Bigfoot V all over again.

Drove it around, spot on with aliagnment and shifts all three gears perfect. I pushed a kitchen chair, no prob / 45 turn lathe motor. Climbed up a few things but I want to finish before mucking up my paint in a crash if I get careless.

Teken rebel 2 esc gives the HD servo plenty of power to turn the tires at a dead stop on carpet or grass. Fun to drive, and has plenty more clearence than it does stock.
I think I may try stiffer rear springs, from a maxx, not bad as it is but why not try a few things right?

Anyway, started setting up my lights, and glued on the wipers then it's decals and such to finish it up. Though I just had to drive it first. Battery is in beteween the frame, going to make some styrene holders next and ditch one tyrap.
