Default Yotapane's 2dr jk re-build thread

I've had my scx based jk for about two years and I figured it was time to go through it and finally build it to the level it deserves for all the years of of enjoyment it has provided me, it has been my go-to rig and has never let me down, so here's the earliest pic I have , it was after I had replaced the back. Half of the body. It started out as a 4dr new bright jk and I cut the entire body from the back line of the front doors and built the new rear section from .060 and 80 styrene, using tenax7r and q-bond it has been indestructible , no cracking or separations between the front and rear section of the body(many rollovers and drop offs at speed)the interior is trimmed to hide the stock axial trans under the dash . Trans is mounted in stock location, I built the custom center console to help tie in the front and rear body sections and I thought a little street truck touch would look nice. The seats are also stock new bright seats trimmed to clear trans, onto the before pics

I built the front bumper and roll cage using 3/16" solid rod and a miller mig, came out nice and clean, And have proved to be as solid as I thought they'd be here's a few more progress pics since doing the half door conversion and starting to fill in the little chips and dings to prep for a fresh start, let me know what you all think...

A little more progress and a few pics of all my distractions, way too many irons in the fire, and still have the lil green tj on its way back...

Thanks, I've always liked the little jeeps you've built, especially the one that has two front clips......no reverse penalties lol

After a severe lack of packing material and extreme Kik boxing tournament at USPS the jk ended up playing boomerang and ended up back in my hands... I repaired a lot of flaws and am having more fun with it than I ever have.. special thanks going out to middleman for the chance to get my jk back home ...
