Thanks guy. It was great to come back to this build today. I had hoped to have it done before the ECSC, but it wasn't in the cards.

Interior is nearly done.



I spent today building some seat brackets out of aluminum stock I had lying around. Puts the seats at just the right height now.



Thanks to n00b, my FJ now has a clear windshield. I trimmed the existing tinted window set and kept the frame around it.

I've made an update to the parts that required updating.

More progress. Interior is nearing completion. Super nice and easy with the n00b interior pieces. I've got some painting to do still. Hoping to get the schemes right so the FJ Cruiser fan club decrees it accurate.



I've decided on a paint scheme too. You'll never guess what colour I painted the top.



So crazy right!? It's white! You never saw that coming I bet. Some heavily modified n00b fenders completes the look.

I'm all about risk taking. Finished interior should give you an idea of what main colour I'm going for. If I'm honest, I'm using up paint and have got a reference in mind.

It's a Nikko body. Careful though, there's two different sizes, and one sucks in the detail department. You can find them on eBay.

Paint's done-ish.



Most of the electrics are in now too. I always wanted to do a build with angel rings.



But, they look kinda sucky with the stock headlight surrounds.

Top tip, with nearly no modifications, Tamiya Hilux headlights fit a treat and look infinitely better.



Bits and pieces is all that's left. Oh, and a bumper.

I'm having fun putting this truck together. Much better than my first attempt. I'm making sure to follow all the rules of FJ Cwalrers, hoping I get this one right.

In case you didn't know, I'm basing this build off an FJ that Warn built to showcase it's bumpers. That bumper is being built courtesy of Mr. Wrencher. That's pretty much the last piece of the puzzle at this point.



I'm not sure these are the tires I want to use, hence my experimentation seen in the background. I'm happy with the wheels though, so that's something.



Painted the bezel and cut out the phoney mesh to put some real mesh in there. Hooray.
