Awesome the stock body has them I'm guessing he shaved them off when he made it.

I've seen a few that have a bump around them. But I guess I can see why he would have done that. He would've had to figure out how to match it for the rear windows.

They had to be shaved off to join the two cabs together.I actually installed gutters the same way but then decided since it was going to be in the weeds, they needed to be shaved,so,off they came and re-sanded.

I played around a little more with the wiring. I like how clean it is like this! Maybe it's overkill but I know it will last. And everything is separated so if there is a problem later, I can fix just that problem without having to tear out everything. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/08/adegujyn.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/08/e9e7u8uh.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/08/y3esy5yb.jpg Oh yah, sorry fr8cture, still no paint! It's a type of wire loom. It works like those Chinese handcuffs we had as kids. When you push it towards itself, it expands and then when you pull on it, it shrinks. When you use it over your wires, you need a price of heat shrink on each end to keep looking clean and in place. Here's a link to some on eBay. Or if you ever get down to Indianapolis, go to Fry's electronics off of I69. They stock it in different sizes. Also, if you look around on eBay you can find other colors as well.

Hey by the way I found that McMaster Carr has the expandable wiring sleeve in multiple colors for $2-$4 per 10' piece and like $16-$18 for a 100 foot spool!'

That's a good deal! I think it was $10 for 10 feet at Frys Electronics. I'm glad you found some. Have fun!

Ok, I wanted to have lappdogg paint this for me. But with the recent breakdown that I had in my big truck, I just couldn't swing the cost. So I've resorted to doing it myself and going with a simpler paint job. I am actually really happy with it so far! I need to wet sand it before I clear coat it along with putting some chrome vinyl and some emblems on it. Are you happy now fr8cture!? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/18/egezynu6.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/18/e4etudu3.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/18/za7yha2u.jpg

I've been waiting on a custom visor with led maker lights in it from CaptainScale. I can't get him to answer my PM's so I think he lost interest in doing it for me. That's what I was waiting on before I painted. Maybe I'll give it a try myself at some point?

I'm hoping he does! He made a couple to fit an older Ford hard body and it looks awesome!

Lmao! Yah yah!

I did 3 coats of each color. Then I wet sanded with 800 grit and painted the rain gutters and door handles and put the Silverado and 454 emblems on. Then I did 3 coats of clear coat. I really wish the pictures came out better on here! They are too fuzzy.
