I got a little work done in the last couple of days.

1st, I got the rear bumper on. I am going to drill out holes for reverse lights in it and put some sort of backer in the middle to mount the license plate.

2nd, I did figure a way to narrow this rear end! I've got everything sucked up as tight as possible. It is what it is now. The only option left to get them under there any more would be to do a 3 or 4 link setup but with as narrow as it is, I'm not sure how well that would work. I am still up in the air on the flairs. I posted pics of each side of the truck to show how much they really do cover.

Sweet build. There is a guy on YouTube who narrowed his rear end and it look more realistic. Unfortunately I dont remember his name

Hey alpine, what's your opinion as far as with or without the fender flairs?

I normally do not like flairs. I think they look OK on the bed, but look out of place on the front fenders. The dually fender needs to be a bit wider and the flairs help, but they would look out of place without a pair on the front too. To be honest I'm torn on this one. A smaller, less wide set of flairs on the front would look much better and leave the larger ones out back.

I kind of like it without them as well. I'd probably just run without.

I just did a Yahoo search for "lifted dually pictures". I have no idea where it came from?

Atleast the chevy looks good. :flipoff:

Also I love the look of the fenders, wouldn't want to cover it with flares imo.

I regret selling it but glad it's up and rolling. I wouldn't have had it running until Christmas or later probably. lol

I got my tail lights made!

Heyok made me a light setup.

The truck will, in the end, have,

Headlights, fog lights
8 marker lights plus 5 on the roof. This part is a surprise! Guaranteed, it's never been done on a Clod body!
Front and rear turn signals
Brake lights
Reverse lights
A rear license plate light
And 2 light bars!

I know in the pic, the lens looks orange but it really is red!

Looks great. I've seen tail lights done a few times. I was gonna do it too.
