| 2014 ECSC Silverado Build
Here is my plans for this year’s ECSC Build for class one. I’m using the Silverado Intimidator SS Body. I have plan on getting this going but maybe in a non-traditional method, this is where I look to you all for suggestions. The issue is that with the interior being so big and the engine bay lacking with space i plan on running a rear engine/trans and a transfer case to get this thing moving. Has anyone done this and how did it work for you. I know it will move the weight to the rear but I don’t think I have many options with this. Here are a few mock up photos to show you how this is going to sit and maybe someone else may have a better suggestion to make. Please feel free to chime in with any suggestions as that is what makes this hobby great. Time for some body and interior shots.... Now here are a few of the body sitting on the chassis...... Now if you look at this one you can kinda see what i mean by space. I have a trans in the back and only about 5 mm between the spur and the top of the bed so i cant lower the bed anymore. As i stated before if you have any suggestions m all ears...... |

A few more updates. After spending close to $300 on this rig Monday the first of many packages is sitting on my doorstep waiting for me to get started. I have also been working on the clear coat and sanding. Im almost there. a few more coats to go and ill be happy with it. Here is a pic from last night about halfway through clear coats. I am hoping to get a bunch of the stuff put together tonight so i can make up some time on this and get a test run in before the event. |

So i have received everything that I have ordered so far. Now its time to get the hands dirty and get these parts installed. I spent my lunch break putting these tires together and like the way they came out. Then here is a couple shots of the rest of the items i have received..... So after tonight i hope to have most of this stuff installed and maybe even roller status. |
