| Scale 3700 Jeepspeed build
This is kinda a copy of a 3700 jeepspeed I raced with a buddy for a few years but a Comanche instead of a Cherokee. Last edited by creepster; 04-05-2014 at 07:48 AM. |

Lets see here, tcs x trail frame, rc4wd hardcore trailing arms and heims, axial axles, axial links, axial wheels, axial ax10 tranny, axial scx10 shocks front, axial scx10 and ax10 shocks in the back, rc4wd tires, rc4wd winch, rc4wd light bar, rc4wd front bumper, rc4wd rear bumper with d rings, rc4wd sliders, hpi drivers, dinky rc fuel cell that stashes my tow strap and enough tools to take it completely apart. proline body, proline rifle, fire extinguisher and high lift, the crawl space sand ladders, the crawl space tow strap, Its got a terrible herbst die cast trophy truck in the cab with scale controller for a scale rc truck in my scale rc truck. I stole the mirrors off one of my kids toy trucks, I stole a scale toolbox with scale tools from my kid and probably some other stuff I forgot. Its 4 linked front and rear. Frame mounted servo. I made some rear shock mounts for the rear dual shock set up. Im waiting on a rc4wd 2 speed tranny and right now its running a 9 turn brushless on 2s. I might re gear the axles if its not fast enough after the 2 speed tranny but as of now its fairly fast and super stable with the trailing arms and does well on the short coarse style tracks. It also crawls pretty good. The cog is nice and low. Ill probably cage it as well. Thanks to Turtle for the use of the scale garage and for taking the pics and thanks to The Crawl Space for being the most awesome Rc shop on the planet! Thanks for looking and for the interest! I really like it. You don't see a lot of Comanche's. Great job! |

Thank you very much. I appreciate it. Its my first real Rc build and i'm very happy with it so far. I've never seen anything quiet like it but I wanted it so I made it!

Wow, I scrolled through the actual build pics wondering where the rc was. Very nice build! Best looking Comanche I've seen. How does it do on desert runs? |
