if you dont know what a mongo is it was in fast and furious 5, when they were hijcing the vehicles, any ways i have been talking to some buddy's i know, and i have this 1/16 scale unimog body i was making for my axial dingo, a;; in all, it had to many problem's so it sat for 5 month's on a shelf, all mig welded looking like crap, all made by me, and today, i have already chopped it up to clean it up and make new fenders and stuff, when i saw the front end of it, it almost looked like the mongo, so i have found some blue prints of people exploding pic's of mongos and i have looked at them and whatnot and i mainly have it all figured out, but i need axial scx10 axles and transmission including the trans skid plate, and then i can figure out the wheelbase and stuff like that but anyway's here are some pic's of what it used to look like but yeah tommorw i will have pic's of what i did today hope you enjoy this build Last edited by kelownaCRAWL; 04-19-2014 at 10:03 AM. |

and most of the thing i have for it are from my axial dingo that is in the first pic's, and my dingo is not the powerplant the mojo will have a 15t brushed motor, a wp esc, a wp receiver, and a wp servo, well that what i hope i will have for it, cause i live very close my river's and creeks and i want this build to take a beating cause if the metal break's ,so be it, ill take it home and slap more weld's on it approved by me plus, i am new to metal fabrication, so if you dont like what you see, please be nice,i love doing this stuff, but if people put me down, well my build's get put down so thank you for checking my build out!! |

updates on mongo i did the front bumper i have added more rod to make it look more complete like so..... and i added some rod to the bed of it just to be unique and not blan that was all held on by some small tack welds just to if i like it or not then i welded the rod to the bed from the bottom side all the way across,so it dosnt look weird... just to make it easier so i could sand it smooth and i am starting to make the tire rack for a 1.9 flat iron tire to sit on no pics for that yet but soon |
