Well this is my first build here on RCC and i think its pretty good. i just picked up my truck a couple hours ago. i had a custom bed and brush guard made by bluemonster and it looks awesome. im sure all of you have probably seen some of the pictures he posted up of it. the plan is to make this truck a very capanle trail rig. i bought black hpi stock car rims and wrangler tires. im planning on giving the truck a quarter elliptical rear suspension. right now the truck is pretty much bone stock. im planning on changine the color. i was thinking a glossy red... what do you guys think? |

Gil, those lights up front look PERFECT. Good idea! Personally, I really like the Olive Drab, but something like red would make the truck pop more.

the lights are a mock up right now. dont really know how im going to mount them... the truck looks great man good work! it was worth the long windy drive down to hobbytown! i like the drab too but im thinking of a little something more mean-looking.

Looks badass! What color paint and make is that? Oh and how did the bumper end up getting mounted, is it bolted to the body or part of the frame? |

Came out very nice. Stick with the OD, its screams tough truck. Only thing Im not crazy about is the spare on top of the cage, I would move to one side of the bed under the cage. Mike |

I agree with everyone^^^^^. Keep the OD green. The only thing meaner would be flat black.

truck is beautiful. OD green>black only thing i would change is either modify the rear fenders and put them back on. or do some sheetmetal/tubing work. it looks so bare, frame showing and all. maybe something like this. well the photoshop looks ****ty, and looks horrible, but you get the idea. probly needs a wheelwell Last edited by STANG KILLA SS; 11-16-2006 at 11:11 AM. |

im not too sure yet about that. im planning on repositioning the battery so its not seen and would give it more of a scale look.

youve got the fenders right? what you got to loose? cut the fenders off the bed, and then find where you need to bend it for the partial dovetail and heat it up and bend. would look sweet if you dont want to tackle the tube work.
