My Toyota body is coming in the mail, I wanted to make it match my white 87 Toyota truck, but it would of matched my 84 better but it got sold, I like the 87 better, so maybe, if I repaint the body, I'll paint it white and buy some of the RC4WD Toyota Body stickers, and I see RC4WD sells the Four runner rims like what's on my truck now, I got set of 10.5'' X 31'' that look like RC4WD Pro10 rims but need tires before I can put them on my truck.

Hey fr8cture
The Dingo body was going to be made to look like a Land Rover, and I was going to maybe build a cab, kind of like your Avatar picture of the Jeep or I could make a cab for the scout body, I like Toyota body better, I guess now I got to paint the little Jack Russell's, I bought at Micheals, to match my two black and white Russell's, Rip is bright white with black markings, Jack is bright white and has that bluish / black tint like the bigger bird dog Terriers and will lift one front paw and point out quails that run thru my back yard.

I like these rims but not worth $110 plus shipping, but I might buy one of these tire mounts.

I found these online and there half the price of the RC4WD T-Runner rims, and maybe half the quality too, there from China and takes over a month too get them, RC4WD is American made and is in San Jose CA, So really fast shipping for me. I'm not buying China made stuff anymore.

RC4WD has two plants in the US one in Ca, the second one in south not sure where, I live in Northern Nevada ordered online from there site the parts came from CA, pretty fast. I already got a lot of money in this build, and not sure if it worth another hundred plus for rims, when I already own a set of the stamped spokes and a set of Pro-Ten rims so don't really need them, they look more scale and match what on My 87 Toyota, I got a couple of sets of steelies for my real truck so I can match them if I really wanted too.

I'm thinking about buying this trailer kit, and I found the axles, pins and bearings, I forgot I have cheap beadlocks and tires from a 1/16 crawler already to go, they will look good on the trailer.

I got my Toyota Truck body and it has huge holes cut into it to clear the spur gear and transmission I guess, I filled in the holes with shoo goo and sticky dry wall mesh, and I bought some Testers OD Flat Green in small bottles and it does match the color of the truck, the Rust-Oleum Camouflage Deep Forest Green is dead on match, On the bed and the cab, I used the drywall mesh to cover the hole, then put a coat of Shoo Goo one side then did the second side, then went back over both sides, to make sure all of it was coated nicely, the bed I then painted, I also have this RC Brothers truck box, with it in the bed you wont see how ruff it is and it covers up my body work. I just hope the Shoo Goo and mesh and paint stiffen up when fully dried and cured

I got the interior, it was started, it needs to be finished installing, with some Velcro, cause I might need to mount the battery and esc and receiver in the cab space, going to add to shift levers maybe, one for the tranny and one for the transfer case and maybe throw in a nitrous bottle I've been saving.

Here is some pics of it, with the body just sitting on the chassis, it has the motor forward kit, so with the front of the body sitting on top on the frame there is enough room for the spur not to hit the body, I could notch the front of the body and drop it a little but I don't want to cut the body, and I hoping the space between the bed and chassis, I can fit one of my 2s 5000 Mah lipo's or maybe buy a new smaller battery, or maybe use the truck box and put a battery in it, I installed the truck box cause it looks good and I like it. Need to figure out how to make body mounts, so the body sits level or a little higher in the front.

I just pulled the trigger on the RC4WD truck bed tire mount, and the trailer kit and the axles, pins, and bearings for the trailer, I watched some U-tube vids of creating scale rust, need to go Home Depot and look at the different primers to get the rusted finish, going to look and see if they got some red, orange, brown, rust colored primers or what ever color catches my eye. I want the trailer to look older than the truck does, maybe a couple of dents and bent fender and a bunch of scratches and give it that well used look. Going to use these rims and tires, and maybe rust up and dirty up the beadlocks so it all blends together. and I hoping this Tractor Supply bed box will fit on the tongue and the front of the trailer. It will look good if it fits.

I bought me some front and rear hubs and the hub tools, and some replacement mirrors, and the lifted body mount for a TF2, I almost bought the rear and front bumpers and sliders but not sure how high the body is going to be off of the chassis, I might have to bumpers to the body. I made some RJ2 style sliders for my SCX10 Honcho, maybe I can make some sliders out sheet metal.

I see they make a couple of different styles of trailer hitches for a SCX10, I will have look at one up close, and see if I can, get it to fit the my GCM 4-Ten chassis, if not I will have to make a trailer hitch and maybe some bumper mounts.

I just found these, going to put one of these on the truck box lid, bought a dark green one and a black one, I'm hoping the dark green matches, but if it don't, I got a black to use. the picture is not showing but its a Metallica Sticker, Love Metallica, My first I say them they play was back in the mid 80''s in SF in a hole in the wall club, Metallic and about 150 people, they rocked my world, it was a life changing experience and have loved them ever since and the guy who got me the tickets and took me to the show, has long passed on, I miss you my brother, R.I.P

I got my trailer today and I like it, going to mount the Tractor Supply box on the trailer tongue, as far forward as it will go, so there is space so the box lid opens.

and more pics of the trailer and I have now found a place to mount the scale gas cans I been saving, they just stuck on with tape for now, going to go to Home Depot and see what colors of primer the have so I can maybe rust out the trailer and buy another set of gas cans and put two cans on each fender.
