Rig looks like a good starting point.

For the trans, it depends on what you are going to do with it.

I scored a Rc4wd ax2 2spd for $80.

It'll go in the Wraithzilla or tundra...
Kinda leaning towards the Wraithzilla..

The tundra will probably be fine with a single speed..
being all tube up top,it probably isn't a wise choice to speed it up.

Yeah I think it's better fit for a wraith zilla since it's kinda a U4 type rig.

Took it to our club G6 july 12th and drove around the course getting some video and mingling with the competitiors.

And yesterday went on a trailride with a few Crawling buddies and some carnage happened...driveline snapped and MIP cvd,yes the OG ax10 cvds finally gaveout..3-4 years of use out of them. So sad they don't make them anymore.

Driveline snapped the weld,as it was a custom length shaft..no biggee to reweld it.

bit of an update...

the 350 hubs were just barely rubbing the tires..
so I swapped them again, for some 475 hubs..
much better stance.

Upgraded the Winchline to some Axial green line.

And lastly..
the Vanquish Trans case and gear guard to finalize the Upgrades.

Last thing is a lightbar..and where to put it/them.
Either 1 big bar or 2 smaller ones..?
what do you guys think?

One big bar on the roof. That's what I would do.

Maybe a big bar on top of the windshield. Idk how that will work thought with the bars over the windshield.

my only issue with putting it on top..
that it would be in the way and stick up too much.

or
2 - 2in bars on the hood near windshield..

hmmm??

Yeah if up top you would need to put brackets off the front so it is just below the roof line. So I think the hood is the only option really.

Yep..a 4in across the hood will probably be the way I go..

Took the Tundra with me to go eat with the folks.
Did a lil crawling on some New rocks. Rocks still have a lot of holes in between them,a lil dirt and some rearranging and it'll be just right.

Bank was washing away,so they had some rocks brought in and stacked.
Looks like ill be busy restacking for awhile..
