Default My High Lift mudding!!!!! Lots of pics!

I ran it alittle while ago. Everything went as planned and I got some awesome shots. But i was cut short due to my tranny suddenly not giving any power to the wheels. Im gonna pull it apart right now and see if I find anything. At least these pics make me happy!! I was very suprised that I didnt get stuck that much except for one of the mud holes. So much for not running it hard. Enjoy:

Im going to paint them red for rears and the yellow around the fronts instead of using the decal. I have ordered head and tail lights already. Now I need to find a prewired set of 5 for the roll bar. Not sure if im going to keep the yellow or go clear. Hopefully the lights are bright enough to get some night time pictures

Truck looks sweet. I like the scale add ons. BTW if you wanna do the turn signals in a reallly realistic looking orange, use an Orange sharpee marker Thats how I did mine

Looks great!

Where did you get that mini-MTR? Is it soft or just hard plastic?

1BadJeepBruiser- Ill try that marker thing tonight. It was done on the insides right? You think it will work wit red for the tails?

JeremyH- Those are from Flywheels(all the info posted in another thread) They are pretty hard but sticky. They work well but in the mud I ran it intoday they would have been pretty bad as they dont self clean.

Bracysdad- Those rims are 5 spoke aluminum rims from Supra Sales on ebay. I have 2 sets

xjman- I drove to and from everysingle picture except the 4th and 5th mudding pic from the bottom. I drove to there but couldnt get out no matter what I did. Every other pic I had no problems. Only a few places did I get hung up and had to give it a little scoot to get over an obsticle.

Eagleone- Tranny is fine now. The setscrew in the brass gear on the transfer case side and backed its way out and was floating inside the transfer case. I put more threadlock on it and put it back in and all is well now.

Here are a few of when I first ran it behind my house in the woods. This is after a few minute run on some loose dirt. You can see the MTR's packed.

I did this to it too, to get more flex:

Oh and here are all my tire/rim options

Heres another fun fact

Here is my truck flexing after 10 minutes of running offroad with the stock soft suspension:

And here it is after about a half hour of running and after tapering the leaf eyelets:

I gained about another 1"- 1 1/4" of flex which is not too bad!

This is what I did to the eyelets:

Tip is from Chino on RCC board.

I didnt sharpee my rear lights at all, but I would imagine you could. I actually did my turn signal ones from the outside, the came out great.

Tappered leaf mod rules doesnt it? Right now, my truck sits with so much sag its rediculous the springs got really mushy and just a few outings. I am running the main leaf and the shortest leaf and top right now...but I think I am going to have to add another one as its going to rub the clawg dawgs otherwise. I cant even imagine how much flex I would have I tappered my springs...I think I have enough now
