Thank you and I definitely will. I am at the stage where I am debating paint colors right now. I will be using automotive base clear paint. I am currently debating a few colors. But it will definitely have metal flake in it.

Well I put this rig in primer this evening. There are some problem areas that need some work and then she will be ready for paint. I will be using automotive paint in a base clear system. Looks like the next step is some sanding and maybe some filling.

I love where you went with this body. I went the same route with a Hilux and never finished it.

Thank you man. I am hoping to paint it tomorrow. I will definitely finish this project. Still needs a lot of interior details that I will be adding after paint. If the paint turns out nice I might be too afraid to drive it.

Default One tuff Tundra

And now it is painted. Just need to hand paint the interior, add the set and scale details then it will be done.

Thank you. The round styrene I got from my local hobby shop. It is 3/16 styrene tubing.

These tires work amazingly well. However, I have heard that the foam they come with is not stiff enough. They fold very badly. I put crawler innovations closed cell tsl Xl foams in mine. I am very happy with the scale looks and bite of these tires. Any rc4wd tire in the 2xss compound works great.

Was not sure if you already said but what wheels are you going with? my vote would be a gold center. garnet and gold like the color you went with.

Just finished painting the drivers side seat. Still need to build 1 more. Also needs a riser so it fits right.

I really like the concept of this truck. Nutty color, but I bet it'll looks great on the rocks. The rest tire placement is money.
