This body has been a real bugger to stitch back together and line everything up. I don't recommend it!

So don't cut mine up, or cut it up more? I'm confused.

That's not good to hear!

What's so different about it compared to the Tamiya stuff?

I must've been unclear. The body is highly recommended. Bobbing it, no. The body tapers off at the back and removing that inch got everything out of whack.

However, the body is more like ABS instead of Tamiya PS so it's a bit harder to glue with my MEK.

Oh whew! Don't scare me like that, Richard.

I can see what you're on about though. It didn't look like it had that much of a taper when it was original. I'll be sure to note that when I start cutting up mine.

Luckily, there are great epoxies and glue to handle ABS if it becomes too much of an issue.

$175 isn't too bad, but I think I'd still prefer to make my own. All those straight lines wouldn't be too bad. If I can build an FJ60, an LJ70 should be a walk in the park.

Sweet! If it's the same wheelbase as the Pajero it's pictured next to it would be between 1/9 and 1/10 scale. My favorite!

Oh, Albert.

I blame imthatguy and Lentsnh2012 for this. I had to cut more from the body or I'd risk ridicule from my peers.

Send me those roof bits, so I can make a double decker 80.

EDIT: Now you're really going to need to do an interior.
