The efficiency that's built into those newfangled 4 gram Sawzall's is quite fascinating. Must be Energizer powered!

But my mom said it looked real! Could you or one of the other mods please move this thread to the 1.9 section so it can live with the other mutilated 80 builds? Please! It's lonely down here in Vaterra country. | |

Vaterra axles sold to fund Yota II's. I've been slowly working on the interior. I think I'm going to model it with the rear doors welded shut and only have seating for two. The transmission tunnel is made from a cutoff scrap of IKEA UPPLEVA cable cover strip. It's made of ABS so it welds with regular styrene solvent. I'm headed out to the garage to carve up a buck for the rear fenders. Then I'll hit the vacuum former. |

So I have a lame question... What do you think of the Ascender roller chassis? Is it alright for what it is, or are there better contenders for the price point?

| 80 Series Ascender by pardonmyn00b They tried too hard and it's not great. The axles and driveshafts were lame. As you can see I already replaced those. The SCX10 is better a choice. The only thing keeping me from entirely scrapping this chassis is the sweet bit of GCM kit I installed.
