Default greenjk's scale JK

I just went looking for a build thread on this and realised I didn't have one, so here we go , I brought a Honcho about 4 years ago when they first came out down here and wanted to copy my 1:1 JK Unlimited, got a NB JK body locally and started driving it ( this is the rig that got me hooked here ) several years later I decided it was time to finish it off. Heres what I'm trying to copy.

Scaler is an scx10 frame with narrowed wraith axles, centered rear and offset front running HR spools F&R and overdrive gears in front, scx10 trans on a wraith skidplate, I decided to widen the rear of the chassis to match the width of the wraith skid and make it easier to run separate coils and shocks (still need to get the OME's from rc4wd) as the 1:1 has a OME lift, homemade CMS with panhard, it's all a bit rough atm and will stay that way until I do some testing, once I know it all works ok I will pull it down to tidy and black out all the alloy brackets.

Here's some specs on the 1:1
07 CRD Auto Unlimited Renegade
ARB front bar with Warn winch
LED light bar
LED pillar lights
AEV Snorkel
PS bonnet louvers
Uneek 4X4 rock sliders
HM rear bar/tyre carrier
OME 2" lift
285/75/16 BFG KM2's on stock alloy's
Cargo master congo cage/with roof basket

I will be trying to make everything for this to get it as close to scale as I can. Wish me luck.

Some more work done, getting rid of the rear number plate as the Aussie JK's didn't have them mounted there and mine is on my rear bumper, also shaving the center rib off the roof as there is supposed to be a join there for the roof.

Looking to change to RHD and I want to do a mirror image of the cowl so the wipers sweep the correct way any ideas, I was thinking about 3d printing but have no knowledge of how to get it done.

Has anyone narrowed the flares on one of these to make them look like stock flares.

Got some 70mm scale shocks and been working at getting them mounted so I can take it for a test run and see if it works. I have decided to change this to RHD so I need to swap the steering servo and panhard to the other side, as well as change the dash and the wiper panel, dash looks like it will be pretty easy, the wiper panel I will remake it as a mirror image out of styrene.

Heres a few more pics, one is the front to shock mount on the 1:1. I still haven't decided how I'll do the top mounts, feel free to give me some ideas.

Looks great, I've never liked the look of the bushwackers, how are they holding up.

I didn't run it very long like that to be honest, i ended up cutting them into a flat style flare.

How did this progress? Curious in some more shots of the front and rear separate shocks/coils.
