Thanks guys!

- Yesterday, we installed some rocks sliders that were used on the old LR3.

- They came out nice!

- Yes but they are to tight to the body. Maybe later we can make some new ones!

- I founds these body posts to mount the body.

- Well thought out. We can use these screws and tighten below the body.

- Yes and then the body posts slide through the holes in the chassis cross member!

- Let's screw ths in!

- And widen the holes! Then we just use clips!

- Perfect!

- And now the electronis!

- Damn this brushless ESC! Allways failing!!Lets replace all this! HobbyKing X-CAr brushed ESC, 35T RC4WD motor, and Spektrum receiver!

- Ah! Ready for a test! And at night! We can try the lights! Awesome!

- Damn! It's pitch black!!!

- What a nice photo!

- We are gone have to use black hot glue behind the leds

- Yes, it's a good idea! Now, lets have fun!

- Yeeeehhh!!!

- We needed something to keep the hood open and here it is!

- The mount is allready in place.

- There!

- We started adding some details, like for example the exaust!

- With this exaust we get like more 10bhp! Hehehehe!!

- Missing the antena.

- Here she is!

- I have to confess... I don´t like the plastic sliders...

- Me neither, so... Out with them!

- Meanwhile, I made these sliders out of steel!

- Aahh! They look good!

- Much better then the plastic ones!

- Agreed!

- And how about we go out and test them?

- Sounds like a good idea!!

- GO! GO! GO! GO!

- Sliders doin work!!

Thanks!

- What is all this junk in the middle of the way?!

- I have no ideia! It was there when I arrived!

- We better pack this up... We never know if this might be useful sometime soon...

- You know, I think the Jeep needs a snorkel, so we can go into water without problems...

- Ok, do you have something in mind?

- I searched the interwebs and they were all too expensive... I believe that we can make one ourselves! From the ones I saw, the Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Snorkel System was the one I liked the most! We could try and do something similar!

- So be it! Show me a pic!

XHD Snorkel Kit, 3.6L, 12-15 Jeep Wrangler (JK)

- After a lot of cutting, gluing and sanding...

- Not bad!!

- This will be the upper pipe after some detailing!

- Putty! Putty everywhere!

- After a lot of time, a lot of putty, a lot of sanding, here it is finally the finished snorkel!

- It looks purdy! Even better when mounted!

- Yes! Now we just need a reinforcement on the tube to be fixed on the body!

- Sounds a good ideia!

- Here it is, after a coat of primer.

- All left to do is paint it black!

DING DONG!

- Huumm... Who is it?!

- It's the postman!!!

- Huunnnff!!! Two packages!

- What do we have here? Some electronics for the Jeep... Need to change the connections!

- And this one from Canada... Wha... THE TERRAMOD AXLE HOUSINGS FORM GCM!!!!!!!!!!! IIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH HH!!!! UUUUHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH!!!

- They are finally here! YES!

- UUUHHHUUUUHHHUHUHBBBBGRRRGGGRGRGRBBBRRRGGGHHHLLL!! !

- WWEEEEEEEHHHHIIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIH HH!!!

- So beautiful! And they have ball bearings included!

- I'm so happpppyyyy!!!

- Oh! And also some stickers!

- Nice!!

- The rear axle! Love the truss!

- The logo is very cool in there!

- Here is the rear axle done. The brake calipers are a nice touch altough we are not going to use them!

- Anyway it's a plus on my book!

- Now we just need to shorten the front axle shafts!

- After that, we have a new set of axles to use!

Wow, working on the exact same project. Looks fantastic. How do you like those Baja MTZ's? Can't wait to see how they fair out.

Thank you! ;)

The tires are nice, though they would benefit with stiffer foams inside! The rig is too heavy for this foams!

- Sam and I decided to go for a ride with the Jeep, so, early morning we drove up a creek bed. I took care of the photos and Sam managed the wheel!

- It was awesome! The Jeep handled beautifully! It has passed in places I doubted it would! No doubt we are very pleased with the Jeep! A thing to repeat!
