Looks great! Some steel fenders on the rear wheels would look sick.

Set the glass, not happy with the front shield. I should have set the lower stop on an angle vs. vertical. Oh well....next body! Still happy wit the overall outcome for the first styrene job of this size. Just installed the rear fenders.....those turned out better than I imagined. Lots to go, odds and ends.

That is an awesome looking rig, wish I had that kind of skill to pull off a totally out of the box build like this off.

Finally mounted the bumpers, Pro-Line in front Axial in back. Figured out the body mounts, got the interior finished. Built a center console out of some scrap styrene. And a quick test drive before dark! The headlights are the brightest ones I have seen, they are 22mm units with a heat sink mounted to the back, made by G.T Power. Imports but almost challenge a few of the high power super bright light bars I've seen.

kept everything up front;

Then made a .060 styrene cover, used the front body mount to secure it;

Couple of quick bomber seats and a console;

Made a cover for the radiator / headlight area;

Proper FC170 emblems:

In for the night, more test and tune tomorrow....seemed a little bouncy in front, my swap out to stiffer spring set.

Thank you, its been a lot of fun so far. Wasn't sure if I could pull off the details in the body. Learned a lot on this body build.

Sweet emblem! I also like the way you modeled the window to be rolled only part way up. Awesome job!

Thanks! I tried to locate an emblem in decent enough shape to still show the red paint in the area of the "FC170", upper center of the emblem.

Thought I'd complete the exhaust system. Couple pieces of 5/16" tube, might be a tad long, needs a test drive to see if they will drag. Added a few scale details, got have a drink while driving! Now WHERES SPRING!

Thanks you! Don't laugh but here are a couple of brief (low quality) videos of its maiden voyage before the weather turned crappy. I've since installed a stiffer spring set, adjusted the rear track bar as it was rubbing on the drive shaft. Just need a break in the weather for some more testing.
