Amazing work, but are you sure you will want to put 1.9 wheels and tires under that body? I believe it would look so much better with 1.55 wheels and tires.

Looking forward to more progress!

The bed is done.
I think it looks better without the rear bumper, so I won't build it. I think about using smaller wheels, but I want to use the truck not only for aesthetics, but for crawling. It may have a low trafficability due to the long wheelbase. By the way it is quite large, the total length 665 mm (26 inches). I will try to use 1.9 wheels first.
The next step will be painting.

Which rear bumper are you looking at? I think that would look awesome with a bumper that matched the front bumper.

Not the best example but, a nice 3-piece, front and rear would be pretty sweet.

This is a fantastic truck to replicate, and you did a remarkable job of it. Throw an "old skool" diamond plate rear bumper on there. That would fit the era nicely.

IMO, this screams "work truck", and 1.9 white landies with RC4WD Dick Cepek FC II's would be perfect. Something like this...

Although...this is "very perdy".

Just my thoughts, but I'm sure what ever you come up with will be a nice finish to a truelly beautiful creation.

Thank you all! And thanks for the pictures. The rear bumper looks as if the front bumper is put back.

I thought about the color and I think it will be brown.
After testing different Tamiya browns I chose NATO Brown, painted them and was preparing to paint in Clear gloss, but the color was too bright. Then I used a mixed metallic acrylic paint to correct color. This paint is not covered as smooth as a spray, but it may be even better for an old truck, and I got the color that I wanted. Front bumper painted chrome paint. Added some dust and sand to dim metallic gloss.

Front and rear lights with LEDs. Rear and side lights made of reflectors.
