|  Jeep J-20 Double Cab Long Bed Pickup build
I'd like to present the process of building the 1970's Jeep J-20 body. English is my second language, so I will not talk much so as not to annoy you with my illiteracy. I like this forum, it helped me a lot with my first build, so I decided to post here. Scale is 1:9, the same scale as NewBright Jeep. I use 2 mm and 3 mm komacel, 1 mm plastic and 2 mm plexiglass. First of all I made a few drawings.  And then a paper model.  |

Don't think that I have done this myself, I have a mate who controls all my work. Here he is:     The last times, when I painted everything was covered in paint and body stuck dust. So this time I built a paint-spraying booth.  |

This is like the 5th build thread I've seen from Russia where it's been some obscure vehicle, completely constructed from scratch. The quality is always amazing, like Hollywood prop & minature quality.

Thank you guys! I started in mid-September and worked unhurriedly, It takes 2-3 hours per day. I have no plan to build a very realistic chassis, it will be SCX10 with some modifications. I cut out the grill from a komacel sheet. It is made of two halves to obtain two fold. Headlights cut with a rat-file. Then it is covered with foil scotch tape. Here are a few pictures of my JK DoubleCab. I hope this will help you not to get bored while I'm working on the current build(: It was in the last days of summer and in October, when the snow fell.       |
