Very nice rig, your rims are wicked.
I love the way you changed up the Curries.
I'm going to pickup a set of 2.2"methods tomorrow and some 4.88" Mudslingers.
They'll be more for fun as I believe the rig will have to have the 1.9 revolvers and Pit bulls for real comps.
If I ever make it to any.

Looks great!

Couple questions on the body:
  1. Is the body easy to dissaemble and paint?
  2. With the 2.2's did you need to modify the body to prevent rubbing?
  3. How did you mount the body to the SCX chassis

thx

Thats a 1.9 tire on a 2.2 wheel and its easy to disassemble. As for mounting get creative.

As fracture said yes easy to dissasemble, sucks to paint cause the interior is part of the body so lots of taping!! And they are 1.9's, and for mounting...DRILL BIG HOLES AND USE LOTS OF BODY PINS lol I used stock mounting bumpers so I drilled holes in the body for the bumper posts to slide through then slide through the chassis holes...If that makes any sense.. For the front I made inner fender things and made mounts off those for the stock posts that come off the body to mount to.. ugh u would have to see it

Low and wide with a tall 1.9 or 2.2 would be cool. Not a big fan of 2.2 but it could be cool on this rig.

I made some brackets from the post in the body to side of the frame with sheet metal.
