| 43/13 hd ring and pinion
Just completed installing the new beveled cut 43/13 gears. Considering more low end control was my main goal I must say I'm quite happy. I feel as tho my low end control has improved greatly and I have extra hard gears to boot. I'm on the edge about picking up a set of Currie rock jocks, had them in my hand tonight and dam near walked out with them. My dilemma is I feel parts to improve the rigs performance should be put before bling, I just cant see how pretty axles will help. In fact with the exception of added unsprung weight pretty is all I see them doing. I'm certain my ego will win in the end but a set of 2.2" methods with 4.88" mudslingers will be first, they will help performance. I love my 1.9 pti bull Growlers for comps (if I ever get to one) but the 2.2 mudslingers should be a blast. |
