So with Sourdojacks help here is the most recent progress. First step was to mock up the front end with the VP 3 link kit. We knew right away the front end needed some help..

The dremel was pulled out and the frame was C notched to accommodate the panhard bar. Tom was able to find a ti link in my spare parts and bent it perfectly to accommodate full compression and full droop.

Once I get this sandblasted I will strengthen this area up for protection and abuse.

You can see left to right this bad boy flexes rather well. Notice the cab is barely affected by the front axle movement and the rear is almost stationary.. I think this should work

The axle tuck will create some fun challenges up front, but we will figure that out as we go

Sandblasting is complete, not time to get after it.

A year later this sucker has two axles under neath it. Nearly ready for full mockup.

I think I'm gunna have to run our stock width tubes all around to keep with the class 2 spec, but it is looking awesome!

Pics to come

you might be able to get away with wide. a vp 1.9 wheels will clear those knuckles with .225 hubs possibly the narrowed lockedup .185 hubs.

I have Flat face D.C.W. wheels but even then I can't get them far enough in to meet specs. Going to have to just narrow the front.

This build is back from the dead. After some chassis mod's and some Tom-foolery we have a roller.

Unfortunately do meet C2 rules, the chassis needs to be widened. So it will be mailed out this week for some tube work modification.

The suspension has full cycle and full up travel. No interference, its killer.

Looks like we will be going with the second gen skins after all and the dinky rear bed sides. If I can get the second gen bed kit, then I'll change to those later on.

What are you using to bond the styrene with?

I hated working with styrene until I switched to a product called Weld On 3.
