Great looking rig and thread. Out of curiosity, which CI foams did you use?

Yeah buddy, she's a chunky girl right off the bat...I don't remember exactly what CI foams. I dug through my foam bag and found 4 matching closed cell's . I do know they are 4'' and I used the stock foams cut thin to fill/cushion the outer gap of the tire. Hope that helps and congrats on your RTR D110....SWEET!

From my past experience with the Dirt Grabbers I was blown away with the traction it was finding. I compared the "older" Dirt grabbers I had on the d90 to the new ones and they seem to be more sticky... even after hitting the sand and rocks. The 110 is right at home on the trails for sure not so much a "rock crawler" in my eyes.

Thanks!

Just finished the mechanical build; about to start the body. Am I correct in assuming that the battery goes on the flat plate in the middle of the chassis? If so, that means the body has to come off with all those screws? Is there an easier way?

Open to suggestion.

Thanks, John

Correct...the battery goes there. Yep you'll have to take the 4 screws out to change out battery.

May i ask how did you fit the front bumper without the grill touching the bumper?

I have to keep the old bumper in place so itll not touch my grill

I used an unused metal spacer to bring it out a little.
