Got some factory hub caps... Be jelly

We're all going to have to get our stock trucks together for a photoshoot.

So my vacation/cruise didn't end so well... My flight home from Florida was canceled due to the crap weather and wind we are having in NY. Had to stay over an extra night which set me back 400$ + because hotels and car rentals were price gouging due to a boat show and art show that was in Fort Lauderdale to top it all off there was a note left in our state room on the boat about people getting sick, I had disregarded because I wasn't sick... Not until I went to fly home 2 days later that is... Needless to say it's been a rough week. I came home to a bunch of goodies that showed up while I was away and since I am finally feeling better I cracked them open.

Gmade vr01 wheels, some dub caps from my buddy Rich, and the RC4WD MTZs

Gotta say Gmade does it right too, they give you 2 extra long screws to assist in getting the wheels together initially. They also supply extra hardware too... First time buying anything from them and I am satisfied with them. These mounted with zero issue, didn't even need the long screws.

And fitted

I know I am way behind on this build compared to everyone else, my trip set me back, then being sick, and we are dealing with sub zero temps and snow so I have no idea how I am going to paint this thing yet. Hopefully I'll figure something out over the next few days.

More to follow

-Mike

Those were the first after market wheels I bought for my honcho! Recently bought the SR02 (silver powdercoat) set and I am extremely pleased with them as well. These Kit's look like a ton of fun to build(great job RC4WD), looking forward to seeing them together with all their variations on the trails.

Damn it! All you guys are making me crabby.

I need one bad or do I just build up my Aoshima body? Hmmm... I do have a few Bruiser chassis left and some leaf springs I got from some guy.

Looks really good with the Enkie wheels and Rock Stompers. Stock appearing is so cool too, I'd like to know if you all do an FJ40 GTG in the future, I'll bring my rust free CA version if I can.

Do itttttttttt I like a bruisers... And Aoshima fj40s... And Toyotas... And cwarlers... But you know this because you sell me all your cwarlers

If you come hang out with us we have have to add some rust... You know... So you fit in. I don't want you to get picked on... We can add in the rust in the most realistic places like on the tires, and windows... Just like when guys rust the fender flares on the hilux bodies, it'll be awesome !!!!
