| Comprehensive Guide to the Gelande 2
With RC4WD's new introductions based on the Gelande 2 platform and the positive feedback on the TF2 guide, I've gone ahead and posted a new Gelande 2 guide. Have a look and let me know what you think. Enjoy! Comprehensive Guide to the Gelande 2 |

This is great- just what I need now! Since mine will be quite heavy I guess I will need the stronger foam for the wheels- can anyone supply a link to those? I looked but did not see any on rc4wd's site. Thanks in advance... |

^^ Try Crawler innovations: http://www.crawlerinnovations.com They have a wide variety. Which particular one will depend on which tire you run (OD measurement is important) and the final weight of your rig. If you send them those specs, they can make a specific recommendation. |

I'm going to post a little note here, about making sure your differentials are in the correct position, before you begin assembling your chassis, because some G2 kits are going out with the rear differential turning in the wrong direction. I didn't know mine was incorrect until after it was all assembled, and when I tried to roll the wheels, they were all locked up. I had to completely disassemble my rear axle, flip the axle around, flip the axle case plates, then remount the diff cover and pinion output. That was not very fun or entertaining, but educational, I suppose. For the front, make sure the diff cover "bump" is on the passenger side. For the rear, the diff cover "bump" should be on the driver side.
