Still a lot to do, but there's nothing like the maiden voyage. Last night built the front bumper and seats, added a set of SSD steel 8 hole bead lock wheels w/ Super Swamper G8 compound tires. The G8's are really sticky, they really liked my test track....until the trans striped a gear! Waiting for the head light kit, and some cool Freqeskins decals to complete the dash and fuel cell. Some out doors shots.      |

Have not decided, something will spark an idea. For now I just cleaned up the loose ends on the interior. I want to thank Killerblackbird for his Freqeskins lead. The DIY fuel cell kit is awesome! Added the gauges, switches and a box for misc gear. Still waiting for the headlight system.......  Fuel cell    misc.       |

So it was missing something, it needed door handles and hood hold downs. Placed an order with "Joe122 Vintage Jeep Parts", and here came the handles and hold downs! Added the side rails to protect the rocker panels as well. This body is heavier that I thought but it seems well balanced. So far its just under 8 lbs. and seems to handle the rocks in my test track pretty well.      |

So, next time I will hold to my initial plan, if its to be used to compete then I will hold back on the little details! Lost most of my details on the rocks yesterday....but it was a blast! Performed perfectly. Next one will be an International Scout Pick Up.  Had his buddy's out as well.....except for the Ascender......keeps breaking.  |
