You got that wiring under control The total package looks very 1:1 sitting in your garage.

I need a set of those rotors for the f100.

These Crawler Graphics decals find their way onto several trucks of mine. I probably wont run the spare but it does look good.

I couldnt decide between blue, silver or black for the chassis so I just hastily picked blue and started spraying. Had to quit delaying.

Thanks, the look of this jeep is growing on me. It performs way better than it looks, so i'm ok with that.

Oh, and nice truck sir. You're going to like those Compass tires with the foam combination.

I dont know what Toyota means but it was on this sticker pack I bought at RPP. Also, I believe it is to be spelled Toyoda.
I do know that these tires work good, especially with the 4.5" CI Lil Nova foams, firm out back and med up front.

Looks amazing! I didn't know they made bake on paint. I just got an Eastwood powder kit. I need a nice tuber to powder coat now. I think the stickers and decals are spot on. Unbelievable how much difference you made. The interior work is also top notch. I think novice is selling yourself short. Great work!

The engine paint find started out with me trying to find a flat red paint for this truck build. Szczerba's 2.2 4x4 Wrecker

I found the flat red at autozone and didnt even see that it did need to be "baked". Once I baked it 3 times the paint really got strong. My go to paint for metal parts now. Only $8/can.

I bake at 200 degs for an hour, turn off oven and leave part inside oven. Wait an hour, bake at 300 for an hour, leave in oven. Wait an hour bake at 350 for an hour. It's done, oven door is never opened. Smell is minor for the trade off of super strong paint compared to the low quality rattle can or the high cost powder coat. I let the chassis dry at least 6 hours before baking. My wife says the smell is tolerable and not an issue.

Wasn't worried about the smell. Was worried if it left something behind that would make it not safe to cook in anymore.

Psssh, my wife cooked in the oven the evening after I baked this blue chassis last weekend. I said, "it still smells like paint in there a little", she replied "that's great" and put the food in.

Which begs the question, does your wife actually approve of your RC addiction? Or is she going to let it be the death of you?

Only one picture today from the scale comp. too busy running and judging. Some video may pop up before too long.
This jeep is a seriously good driving rig.
