| CC-01 Interceptor and Alter-ego
My first build. I tightened one of the c-hub screws too much and stripped the hole! Found some cool aluminum replacements on eBay though - won't have that problem again. I'm terrible at applying decals so got very lucky that the black paint made most of them redundant. Also when I tried to paint the wheels "metallic" black they came out brown. Then I tried black over THAT and it came out with a crappy texture... but the stock tires for those were dubious anyway. Hence wheels here rc4wd with dirtgrabbers Other upgrades- fast eddy bearings, rear extension links and Tamiya metal shocks. The light bar works the winch is all for show (there is no winch) I have another body for it - Will post it here when I get it mounted. [/URL Last edited by Habanero; 05-23-2015 at 12:39 PM. |

The trickiest part was mounting it on the cc-o1 chassis. I had to move the posts around underneath. I painted it before mounting (Pro tip: don't do that). Its still a little crooked. |
