Slow going but made some progress with the bumpers and taillight assemblies. Front bumper will have chrome leaf applied.

Rear will be a step bumper with diamond plate upper deck. Started with a basic idea for the shape,

Taillight time...

Those taillights are great! And the rear bumper looks identical to what they came with from the factory.

Bolted on the bumpers, glass installed, still have exterior trim, rear tail gate trim, emblems etc. Time for a video.

Hey Scott
The whole truck looks great! One tip, when you make the bumpers and there hollow, I would put some casting resin to fill up the hollow section so the bumper is a solid piece and won't crack if you should hit something.

Great idea Sean, Thanks I will - perhaps not to late on this one BTW, I can get access to the back side easy enough.

After a brief business trip, I got back on the Chevy. Well.....I really don't like tiny letters! Just wrapped up the tailgate, Started the dash, it will have back lit gauges. Started the interior door panels. Its so humid here that it fogged up the second I went outside, which is the reason for the foggy pictures.

Couldn't wait, short test drive after test fitting the dash and door panels. Floor and seats next.

Here's the buckets I've been working on. Need a little filler than paint and some vinyl.

Huge Thank you!
Wrapped up the seats, test fit, think I may lower them a bit more. Fit the steering wheel, column and column mounted shifter.

Thanks Sean! It's usually me getting tips from you.......

Had to add a console, needed to cover that trans tunnel, also no self respecting pick-up runs without a tool box! Box will be covered in diamond plate.

Console beginnings....

Installed...

Tool box taking shape.......

Thanks Guys!
Got a little further on the tool box. Made the struts out of #226 (3/16") and #228 (1/4") Evergreen tube. Need a bit more hardware and the latch mechanism and it should be ready to bolt in.

Well, some of the final details, side marker lights were a little small for my fat fingers, but the'll work. Side view mirrors were a mish-mash of some Tamiya Hilux mirrors, I cut off the mount and made my own. Again my fat fingers made it more difficult then I thought it would. They will work. Have a shot of the chassis, nothing special, just mounted the electronics so I could get the body to sit on the frame.
