can I ask why there is a link going from the frame to the rear axle, does it make the rear axle track

I was trying a different set up in the back and it helps to keeps the axle from swaying it really works well so I kept it on. And the axle doesn't track if it did I would have removed it

ok but does it limit the travel of the rear axle, I had a CMS and the hard pan on my used SCX10, I did not like how it limited the travel, and there was limited flexibility, I four linked it front and put servo back on the axle, and now it has more than enough travel and flexibility and the axle rocks and rolls with the terrain,so much better then the previous owners setup with a CMS and 3 link and hard pan. and just never liked how the front end traveled or lack of travel same with the flexibility or lack off, I fixed it by removing it

so the bar your using is basically a hard pan but on the rear correct

No, On mine it doesn't limit the travel at all, I wouldn't have left it on if it did limit my travel. Give it a try it only take a few minute to put one on.
