managed to sneak off again tonight it's becoming a regular thing the tray is complete just the rear chassis mount to finish it....Iv got winch mounts to do but I'm holding out to maybe bag a quicksand winch...the power stroke shocks arrived today from the U.S. So il be able to mock those up next

done a little on the grille also managed to tidy the odd joint and straighten a couple of tubes! I'm really enjoying building this truck

Something totally off topic and I'm unsure were to ask.....does anyone have the dimensions of a quicksand winch? I know there very rare but I'm holding out until I get one! I can make the front mount if I have the dimensions

I am liking the shape and proportions of the tube work. One observation though...it appears the tube work is removable everywhere except where it attached to the front bumper. Am I missing something?

You have a keen eye......the tube work was tacked there to hold it square while I worked on the rest of the cage...I've got some pics from today if fitted front mounts and a winch tray..along with the rear stays for the tray...

awesome rig, when you say cut down a set of 2.2 boggers did you actually cut a chunk out then glue them back together.

Yes the tyres had a biggish chunk taken out of them...there around 5mm taller than stock 1.9 boggers but super phat...if you look you can see the cut line.

Awesome build Paul! Great work on that cage!

I love all the UK traybacks in general and especially the Gigglepin Special.

Just asking, did you also check the looks with tall & fat 1.9 tires...?

Anyhow, look very much forward to next posts
