I designed the floor pan and rear tub to mesh with the door opening that way I could choose to go doorless in the future and everything look right. Still not sure I'll see how the dash looks. Would be nice to get rid of the squaty Trail ranger side windows. Some trial fitting to get spaces in the range of proper. Guy will have legs and a butt to just not real sure how to get them bent right. Pretty rough lots of shaping to go. Think I might leave the center console painted wood, I've never had a r/c with wood pieces lol. The dash will of course be formed plastic. Last edited by Mnster; 11-12-2015 at 10:52 PM. |

Formed the dash today. Needs additional styrene detail later (knobs and trim) but so far this forming thing is turning out way easier than I expected. As a bonus the truck is remaining lighter and less fragile than a typical glue together styrene build. |

Made a bumper from steel pieces. Wanted something similar in design to a Shockworks winch bumper. Needs refining but so far pretty pleased. |

This little Zuk has become one of my favorite builds. To think it was done by a gimped up builder in a wheelchair. Lol. Great work my brother. Mad props |

Did a little more cage work last night. Think I might have to remold the dash in a smaller version to fit between the posts or spread the bars a bit. Shoe goo melted the steering column and the wheel faces a bit more down then I'd like, it's already on my well I should fix that list. Thankfully after all the additional tube work the body still fits. |

Progress has been slow but I've finally got the driver built up. I've drilled stranger things but I don't remember when. Piped in a rod through his body to a micro servo below. I'll Y harness it to the steering servo. I also plan to make the wheel and his arm turn. |

Awesome post! I wish there were more zuk bodies to choose from. I was just thinking about doing something similar with the trail ranger body. I currently run one but thought of making it look more like a samurai than a LWB. May even be the first build I try with tubing as well. Plenty of inspiration here. thanks man.

the "head mod" on the driver looks fantastic. makes me want to tear mine back apart to fit a mini servo.
