Default Twin Bouncers

Made you look !!!!!

This is/was being built for Axialfest. The idea for this rig came from MCE076 and with his blessings I proceeded to put my own twist to it.

The idea was to build a super low slung rig with gobs of power (more on that later)I started with some square tubing and split it in half, next was the basic shape.

A basic mock up of the axles, skid and trans. The motor is Holmes hobbies new puller pro stubby.

Side by side comparison with a standard 540 brushless.

Some sliders added that will doubles as a battery tray and cage mount. MIP drivelines to prevent the catastrophic failures that can happen when you run a HOSS of a motor.

The front axle has a Wheely King ring and pinion, this provides a 6mm output on the pinion shaft. Should add to the durability of the ride.

Twin Hammers cage and rear shock mounts.

And the stance I am going for, she only has about 1.5 inches of belly at the front of the skid.

I will also be using the new brushless censored esc from Holmes Hobbies. Can you believe I am running a waterproof esc.... Cant trust that parker guy:fu-ha:

Holmes Hobbies new trans output spool. Spool is the lightened version. He even includes a shim for proper gear alignment. I don't want all the rotating mass a Robinson Racing lower output provides. A rc10gt lower gear will be mated to this when installed.

Here is the motor and specs.

50,000 rpm, yiiiiiicks...Can youo say 4s:rockon:

How easy are the gear swaps and what benefit does the rc10gt gear have over the current metal options?

Bolt in swap, Holmes includes washers to shim it up nice. Rc 10 gears don't really have any advantage as far as I know, just another option. I have never had one strip on me. The big advantage other than the strength is the Holmes spool and a gear set is much lighter than a Robinson 1 piece so rotational mass is diminished and allows the motor to spool up much faster.

You probably new most of that but I wanted to throw it out there for others that may not.
