While still very new to this side of the hobby I recently swapped my basically new (less then 4000mah's thru it) ROC412 3100 out for a HH CM 13t. Wow I'm hooked, more then enough wheel speed geared 11/56. The motor seems to stay comfortably cool, it never went over 125° in 85° ambient temps. Lastly the slow speed control, being a newbie perhaps I was having trouble with throttle control on the ROC, the more I practiced the better I got. That said the CM is a dream for low end control and for me just a much smoother motor all around. Perhaps one day as I become more familiar with scaling and the art that is crawling, I will once again try the ROC412. For now and the near future however the CrawlMaster will remain in my scx10. Thank you for such a great motor John. |
