with the Associated coils you almost don't even need to tighten the screws. The diameter of the spring is smaller than most and it is a bit of a bear to stretch the coil over the screws.

I used my router table with a straight cutter tip chucked in the router.

I thought about working something out with my Pajero HB, but decided to get rid of it to fund another project.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Here is the brace I made to strengthen the panhard connection. I'm thinking it will be sufficient but we will see.

As you can see I moved the connection point out towards the front a bit. It looks like the steering rod will still clear fine.

I also have had a few inquiries about my center clearance. It is at about 2 13/16" or about 71mm. This is of course an unladen chassis, it may drop a few ticks when complete.

Looking good dude, thats a nice plate you made for the panhard bar, looks plenty strong for me. I have been wondering how everyone mounts the "coil" spring set ups on to the axles, so I guess its as simple as just using the 2 screws? Keep up the good work

Yes very simple... I used Associated front bugy springs they are smalle diameter than most so they are a tighter fit. works well... and thanks btw.

Do you tighten it down so it doesn't move or does it float back and forth in that channel?

It is tight. I used a lock nut to hold it in place.

Ok I did a little work this weekend.

The front articulated fine but the panhard did hit when going through front travel. So i fixed it because it bugged me.

I also made a simple anti-wrap (we'll see if it helps when in use).

I mounted the rear shocks also. I cut a brace out of delrin and mounted it between the chassis rails.

I mounted up stock TLT shocks. I my have a go at turning them down.

And lastly, I cut the chassis to length. From 16" to 14.5".

That's all for now...

Looks real nice bud. Is this chassis going to be offered from Reignrc? It looks like one of Kaetwo's, but not...
